Monique has always remembered having an affinity for flowers. Her first recollection was when she was 6, she was asked to be a flower girl in her cousin’s wedding in a real castle in the outskirts of Paris.
“I had an accident and was not able to participate in the wedding itself but was given the bridal bouquet as a token of love and understanding of my heartache. I remember how proud I was of these beautiful flowers. I put them to rest on my pillow and when I woke up in the morning they were gone. My cousin did not have a throw away bouquet and decided during my sleep that she wanted it back. Hence I offer a complimentary throw away bouquet to every bride so this will never happen again.”
“From then I was promised that I would get a bridal bouquet when we got back to the United States. By the time I was fifteen I still had no bouquet. It was also time for me to get a part time job after school. I walked about a mile to the nearest flower shop and inquired about a position. I was turned down. On my way out the door I turned back around and went up to the counter to order a bridal bouquet. I then had to explain my story and was hired on the spot and was told that they would teach me to make my own bouquets. And so that is how it all started.”
Monique has over 20 years experience in the flower industry. She worked her way through college graduating second in her class with the plan of becoming a lawyer. When it came down to it she decided to stick with what her real passion was..flowers..not just flowers, but wedding flowers. It is evident in her flawless designs and personal attention to every detail that she is an expert with a passion.
Monique is one of the top wedding designers in her field. She has been recognized by her peers with numerous awards for her creativity and expertise which stands above the rest. She has also been noted for her honesty and fair business practices.
